Welcome to The Silver Wifestyle Blog, I have been a wife for all of about 6.32 minutes so you should probably come here for all of your marriage advice.
My name is Alyssa and I am a rookie wife, fresh out of retirement blogger, and professional student, employee, and fur mom. I am a creative soul who went to art school in Chicago (the first time around) for sports media and marketing, then moved to Europe for a little to study advertising. Shortly after that adventure, I moved to Texas to work in television and sports and then decided life should be like a Grey’s Anatomy episode, so I left and went to nursing school.
PS. It is not like a Grey’s Anatomy episode. Except I did find my person.
I would love to invite you to follow me on this candid journey of my life as a new wife who has a passion for fashion and all things creative. I will share with you my stories and experiences, my favorite fashion finds and reviews, must have products, wedding inspiration, and DIY/ home projects. Basically everything except fitness.
Fun Facts:
- I met my husband in Missouri when he was playing his first season of baseball. I did not know a thing about baseball, now I can’t escape it. Haha kidding. Kind of.
- I have traveled to more destinations than my parents and I dream to change that for them one day.
- My favorite city I have traveled to is Budapest. I believe it is an underrated gem.
- We have three rescue dogs and a cat.
- I was a gymnast for 18 years.
- I believe the right shoes can make any outfit work.
- I am loving earth tones and warm patterns right now.
- I hate trying on clothes. My hauls are where I see if it works & then I send my husband out to return. Thanks babe.
- I love to cook. I am always exploring new recipes and will share them with you.
