We all have a place we put clothes we never wear or pieces in our closet that never get use. I chose a couple items I have never worn and paired them with some of my favorite pieces to make them current and great for spring.

This TopShop crop has been sitting in my closet for two years never worn. As I am getting inspired for spring and festival season, I wanted to go through my wardrobe and make some pieces more current. Below I paired the crop top with destroyed light acid washed mom jeans from American Eagle, black boots from Target, and a western styled black belt from Express. You can easily accessorize this with a hat and bag. This croptop proved to be great for spring and it’s three quarter sleeves make it perfect for being able to dress up and wear casually.

My second piece is a tank I bought randomly over three years ago at Charming Charlie. I have not had the courage to get rid of it because part of me always has liked it but not enough to wear it out.

I found pairing it with black relaxed joggers from the gap and sandals from red dress boutique made is super chic. I accessorized with a hat to make it casual and great for the weekend. I also was able to make this top great for the beach or vacation by pairing it with article of society pants, a western belt from express, and black boots from target. (Swap the boots for flip flops or sandals if going to the beach)

Below is a more chunky knit crop top. I have mixed feelings about this one, I am not sure I will keep it but it looked cute with the black joggers from the gap and heels by Sam Edelman. This could be more of a weekend or weekday night out outfit. It’s a little to thick of a knit for spring in Texas. Back to the back of the closet it goes.

The last item I worked with today was this printed wrap skirt, I believe I purchased it at Nordstrom a few years ago. It has always been cute to me but not until recently did print skirts come back into style. I paired it with a standard blank tank from express, a western belt from express, a black hat, and black zippered boots from target.

When you go into your closet, see what you can revamp to make it fit your current favorite styles, you’ll be surprised!
