Review: #WhatMollyMade’s Healthy Mongolian Beef

After a very long week of work and class, I was feeling too exhausted tonight to cook something extravagant. It was looking like an instant pot night. I was on a mission to find something savory, sweet, and a meal that would not take me more than a half hour to whip up. Luckily, I found a recipe that sounded too good to be true, a healthy version of Mongolian Beef! You do not typically think of healthy when you think of Mongolian Beef but low and behold, this one is.

Husband Approved.

Coconut aminos are my go to in replacing soy sauce, so I was very happy to see that in the recipe. She cut out the typical brown sugar as well for her recipe and replaced it with honey. Molly uses sesame seeds to garnish with the green onion, I unfortunately did not have any in my spice cabinet so I opted for fennel seeds for a little different flavor and it was still delicious. The perfect combination of savory + sweet – the guilt.
